G20 Summit 2023

Gurugram Traffic Police Advisory Regarding G20 Summit:

If you travel to Gurugram after midnight on September 7th, you may encounter difficulties. The Gurugram Traffic Police has issued traffic advice in advance of the G-20 Summit, which will be held in Delhi. As a result, you should leave the house only after reading this advice. According to Gurugram Traffic Police, this advice will be effective from 12 a.m. on September 7th to 11:59 p.m. on September 10th.

There will be a diversion on these routes

According to DCP Virendra Vij of Gurugram Traffic Police, heavy vehicles, including highway buses from Haryana and Rajasthan, will be prohibited from entering Delhi from the Sarhaul toll on the Delhi-Jaipur Motorway and the Kapashera border during this period. Heavy vehicles travelling from Jaipur to Delhi would be detoured from Panchgaon Chowk to the Delhi-Jaipur Motorway.

Heavy vehicles would be diverted from IFFCO Chowk to Delhi via the Mehrauli-Gurugram road at this time. Heavy vehicles providing emergency services, such as milk and vegetables, will continue to operate on the old route. Private vehicles would be blocked on the motorway during the travel of foreign delegations from hotels in Gurugram or IGI Airport in Delhi.

Air passengers leave on time

He stated that due to traffic laws, vehicles may take longer than usual to complete their route, hence it is preferable that they use metro services on September 9 and 10. If flying, passengers should allow extra time before leaving the house.

According to DCP Traffic, overseas guests will stay at the Leela Ambience Hotel on the Delhi-Jaipur Motorway and the Trident Hotel in Udyog Vihar. In addition to the foreign visitors, government officials involved in the arrangements will stay in these. As a result of the G-20 conference, there will be greater VIP movement throughout the city. People may encounter difficulties as a result of the security precautions in place.

Give workers work-from-home

He stated that Gurugram is home to several global corporations, where thousands of people work every day. As a result, providing work-from-home options to their employees during the summit will be beneficial; otherwise, they may face difficulties.
