India defeated Pakistan by 228 runs thanks to Kuldeep Yadav's 5 wickets in the Asia Cup 2023. This win is considered India's most significant victory against  Pakistan. Virat Kohli (122) KL Rahul (111), and others, helped Team India to a massive score of 356 on the scoreboard, while Pakistan just collapsed in chasing the high score.

Jasprit Bumrah, making his comeback after a 10-month absence, opened with a bang, dismissing Imam-ul-Haq (9) and putting Pakistan players on a tight leash. Mohammed Siraj continues to perform well on the other end of the pitch. Pakistan captain Babar Azam is batting with Fakhar Zaman.

The players are back on the pitch after a short rain delay. As Mohammad Rizwan (2) walked back to the pavilion, Shardul Thakur took another wicket for India. Earlier, India's biggest breakthrough came after Hardik Pandya got out Babar Azam (10).

Virat Kohli and KL Rahul led India's innings to a stunning 356-run victory over Pakistan. Virat Kohli (122) and KL Rahul (111), who had an outstanding opening partnership, smashed Pakistan spinners to score the most runs against Pakistan in ODI cricket.

Rains delayed another India-Pakistan Thriller on Sunday although India dominated Pakistan's pacers. The match was called off after Pakistani bowlers attempted to make a comeback against the powerful Indians Team. Rains returned after a lot of pitch inspection and ground staff efforts, and the match was called off for the day.

India has made two changes to their playing XI: injured Shreyas Iyer has been replaced by KL Rahul, and Jasprit Bumrah has returned to the team.

India will be confident about their chances as well, having recently defeated Nepal by a margin of ten wickets.

The Rohit Sharma-led side, on the other hand, will try to approach the game differently compared to the last time, when India struggled against the Pakistani pacers and was struggling at 66 for the loss of four wickets at one point before Ishan Kishan and Hardik stabilised the innings with a 100-run-plus partnership to take the team to a 250-run-plus target.

While rain was expected to be a factor in the latest match between India and Pakistan, the weather in Colombo seems to have improved.
